You believe in God. You may have been part of the Church for years. You may pray regularly and know quite a bit about your faith. And yet, somewhere inside, you sense there may be more to your relationship with God.
Sometimes we need someone who will walk with us.
Life can be full and busy. We long to grow closer to God, yet we can't always see what's happening beneath the surface on our own.
Spiritual direction is a conversation about your relationship with God.
God is already present and active in your life. Spiritual direction begins by paying attention to that presence. We talk about your life — what you're experiencing, what you're noticing, the questions you're carrying, and what may be happening in your relationship with God. My role isn't to give you the answers. It's to listen with you, ask questions, and help you pay loving attention to how God may already be at work in your life.

You don't have to come with an agenda or have anything figured out. We begin with your life — what's happening in your relationships, your work, your prayer, a decision you're facing, or something you can't quite put into words.
Nothing has to be profound. You bring your life. We pay attention to it together.
You make the journey. Your director accompanies you. God directs.

Like a seasoned guide, your director helps you recognize God's movement, navigate life's questions, and grow in freedom and love. The goal is not dependence, but the confidence and freedom to recognize and respond to God in your daily life. Together, you learn to live in loving partnership with the One who is always with you.

Spiritual direction helps you develop the habits of awareness, discernment, and response that deepen your relationship with God in every part of your life. The more you notice, the more you see. The more you see, the more you love.
A first conversation is intentionally simple — we get acquainted, and there's no pressure to continue. Conversations happen over Zoom or in person, usually about an hour, offered as ministry rather than fee-for-service; those who are able are invited to support The Intentional Soul through a contribution. After that first conversation, there's no fixed schedule — the rhythm of meeting is worked out together.
